Privacy

During ordinary use, the numbers you enter stay in your browser. The calculation runs on your device and nothing you type is sent to our server while you adjust it.

Your result link contains the calculator assumptions you entered, such as your age, service, salary, High-3 and tech pay. Anyone who receives the link can open it and see those assumptions. It doesn't contain your name or email address.

If you ask us to email your results, your email address and your calculator inputs are sent to our server so it can build and send that one message. Your financial inputs are not added to our marketing contact list.

Below the email field there's an unchecked box for FormerFed transition guidance and occasional product updates. We only save your email address for that purpose if you tick the box. We save the address, when and how you agreed, the optional transition stage you pick, and whether you were looking at Big Tech or Startup. No salary, High-3, ages, service history or other financial inputs are saved with it.

We count a few anonymous events, like "calculator viewed" or "result emailed", to see how the site is used. Each count holds only the event name, whether Big Tech or Startup was selected (when relevant), and a timestamp.

These counts don't include your salary, High-3, ages, service history, email address, cookies or any visitor ID. We don't use analytics cookies.

Request details, such as your IP address, may be used briefly to limit repeated or abusive requests. They aren't saved with the usage counts.

"Book a 1:1 call" links open our coaching page on Gumroad, which has its own privacy terms. Those links don't carry your result link or any of your numbers. If you want your numbers reviewed, copy or bookmark your result link and bring it to the session.
